| Hellooo----sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days, blame it on stupid Bubbles which has been consuming my LIFE!  Anyways, we went out on our boat this weekend for Memorial Day and we cruised to Baltimore which was fun--I got severely sunburned because I'm a dumbass and I layed out on the front of the boat for like 2 hours and fell asleep .... other than that we did alot of shopping and walking around Baltimore and then we came home on Monday night....
I've been working every day this week from 9:30-4 which is nice because i HATE closing and I still have time to do stuff when I get off work. I'm looking forward to this weekend because we're going to the boat again! I don't think we'll be going anywhere, but it should still be a good time....and maybe I'm just weird but after being at college for a year, coming home and hanging out with the fam is actually enjoyable

| So I finally had a day off where it was nice outside! It was well-deserved considering my past couple of days off were super crappy. So, anyways today I woke up around noon and bummed around the house for an hour or so and then went and layed out in my driveway for another hour to soak up some sun...and hopefully some color  When my sister Kristina got home from school we sat out on the porch for awhile and talked and then I kicked a soccer ball around for awhile with my little sister Marissa...that was fun, made me realize how I've lost all skills I ever had at soccer over these past couple of years. And today is my Dad's birthday so when he got home we had baby-back ribs for dinner! Yum!!! And then German Chocolate cake for dessert!! Sooo...nothing much else has been going on tonight....I'm so excited about work tomorrow...NOT. I am excited about this weekend though, we're going out on our boat and we're going to Baltimore!!! I love Baltimore, there's always so much to do and see, I can't wait!!! Anyways, that's all for tonight....more tomorrow maybe! | | |
| Okay...so OF COURSE it rained today because it was my day off- and not only did it rain, but it rained hard and all freaking day long....ugh! Anyways- today was a pretty decent day ... it began with Ian calling me at 8:30 in the morning to wake me up and tell me to get ready and come over to his house ... I didn't realize when he said he wanted to spend the whole day together, he meant the WHOLE day from like 9am-midnight...geez! So, we had plans to go to D.C. but decided to cancel those on account of the lovely weather, sooo instead we went to Pentagon City and went shopping--not a bad substitute huh? Anyways, the mall was awesome, it was like 4 stories and had every store imaginable, so of course I was in heaven and I'm sure Ian enjoyed himself as well  Haha. Sooo, after that we came home and had dinner with his family, watched "House" and then watched "Day After Tomorrow" which I don't care if everyone said it was such a bad movie, I think it's really good, so there!
So, here I am at home after my hour long drive from Ian's house--so fun But, I've gotta get ready for bed....looong day of work tomorrow :: joy :: Night all. | | |
| Okay...so today was my first day off in over a week, so I have definetely been enjoying it....back to the grind tomorrow...ugh!! Anyways, my friend Erica came over today and we washed our cars, but we probably did more talking than we did washing...both of our cars have a couple of "problem areas" we seemed to miss, whoops!
Right now, I'm waiting for my mom & dad to get home from the boat and then we'll probably have dinner and who knows what else....maybe i'll update this later, maybe I won't! Yay for work tomorrow at 9:30!!! | | |
| Wow....so it's been like forever since I've written in this thing...hmmm...so my freshman year of college is complete, it was definetely full of new experiences....some good, some bad...but mostly good! It has definetely been a fun year, and I'm so grateful for all the great friends I made and all the good times we had. Anyways, it's good to be home but I miss JMU alot. There is just absolutely nothing to do in Sterling. I've been working crazy hours...like 40 a week so that has been keeping me really busy, and also making sure I have like no social life. But, it's really good to be back at work, I missed all the stylists and my fellow receptionists!!
Ian and I have hung out like 3 times since we've been home. It sucks only seeing each other once a week, but then again, it's nice because we both keep our independence, so we don't become one of those typical couples who just seem to merge their lives together....independence is a good thing...especially for me because i'm like a huge commitment phobe!
Today was a pretty looong day, I woke up at 6am and took my best friend Leslie to the airport, she's going home to Illinois for the weekend, so we went out to breakfast at IHOP and then I dropped her off at Dulles :: tear :: Then I came home in this disgusting weather and got ready for work....where I spent the rest of the day until like 5. Then, me and Matthew went to Taco Bell and hung out at my house for a bit. He left around 6 and I proceeded to ignore my huge piles of laundry and sleep until 10pm. Then, I went back to my lovely place of employment to help the new receptionist deal with a money catastrophe...and now...here I am, wide awake since I decided to sleep away my evening!
As for the rest of the night... I guess I will go finish my laundry and head to bed! Peace OuT! | | |
